Wow, Brian... is that real wood?
I cut the back half of the cab off, leaving the floor and about 6mm of the back wall in place. For the woody body, I drew up a set of build plans for the side and rear frames, then assembled them from 1/32" basswood like a Guillow's plane kit. The rear floor is a single piece of basswood, and the roof is .040" evergreen. All total, I cut and used 65 seperate pieces of basswood to build the body. The frame is natural, the inserts are lightly stained, and it is all covered with clear urethane.
