S10man
I just got started on this car. Its Revell's version of Steve Kinser's Quaker State sprinter. The frame is done and painted and the engine is being painted now. Here's the first look at it.
SoCalMark
Cool, my uncle is a big sprint car fan and I built that kit for him. Mark
Gary66
Looks like you are off to a great start, those frames are not the easiet things to get right and yours look's spot on.
S10man
I have the engine pretty much complete, with all the wiring and plumbing in place. The engine is just sitting in the frame for a test fit, but its coming along. Thanks for looking.

Billy Kingsley
Looks good Bill! I've always liked sprint cars but have never built one. I do have Steve's Superman car from 99 planned for some point.
S10man
I've made a bit more progress, with all the suspension now in place. Hopefully today I'll get the brake line hooked up, as well as the fuel tank and lines and the headers. Thanks for looking.

S10man
I got this finished today. It was an interesting build and I managed to learn a bit about these tiny, fast little cars. The kit was very good, well molded with only minimal clean-up required, and everything fit well. The instructions were quite good. I built this basically box stock, except for engine detailing, seatbelts and some other lines and fittings. The green paint is Tamiya Racing Green left over from my Lotus 25 project. It looks fairly close to the proper colour. The only thing left to do is clearcoat and/or Future once the decals a totally dry. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.
