This is the Huey Robert Mason, author of "Chickenhawk" flew in Vietnam. It is Revell's old 1/32 Huey kit, with Fireball Modelworks decals.

Looks great, Lee.
Gotta love Hueys, and that book.
I have a 1/72 "B" series I gotta do.
How'd you like the Fireball decals?

Ah the memories.

Looks good. You did a great job with a kit that's a real B to build.

Thanks all! Jim, the Fireball decals are great! I had to do research to find what markings from the sheet were correct for Roberts unit, and the sheet had them. I had to assemble some numbers from the sheet, etc, but the necessary stuff was there. I have been waiting since 1986 when I first read his book to do this bird.
