I'll check, but I think my best bet for photos will be Ed Kemper, the attorney that runs the SCCA here.
I don't know if he would have any, but he may know of someone.
This has got me thinking back big time...

Here she is, "black Betty" in all her glory!....minus tires, wheels and some bodywork :)

what a fun project! Dad hasn't seen it yet, i'll show him tomorrow. But the wheels, Tires and body are probably going to be set up in a garage diorama, like up against the wall, so i can show off my handi-work. PLus, gives me time to figure out what the h3ll i'm going to do!

You oughta be proud of your self. Just might got the inspiration to go on and finish my own vintage type of FV. But yeah i dig your work man.

Cool. I have been collecting pieces to build a similar car. I've taken a bunch of pictures at the June Sprints at Road America for years.

I'm surprised you did not start with the Tamiya VW engine.....

Hello All,

I am a modeler usually on the GPMA site.  A few of us are currently building FVs mostly from scratch.  I am using the Tamiya Karmann Ghia front susp. and engine.  I noticed a lot of you are going at this.  Thats fantastic.  I'd like to join in  if I can.

Kind Regards,

Allen James  "Rennsport"   (Yeah, I'm a Porsche nut)
