I borrowed a technique from the military modelers and put a wash around all of the opening panels (doors, trunk basically). I think it adds a lot to the finished project.

I tend to agree that it's not that good of a kit but it just goes to show that anyone can make something decent out of it.

Great looking Chevelle, And you did a fantastic job on the vinyl top. And yea, the kit is kinda bad, but your work makes it look like it was a Tamaya
kit. :D Outstanding!

I cannot comment on the kit. I own it, but it's not open. However your build looks fantastic. That build would make me want to build one.
