My vacation is quickly coming to an end and I am thrilled to soon get back to the bench where this thread has been an inspiration. Thank you.

Thought it would be interesting to see if anyone has had any strange or weird model related dreams.  I had one last night.  I bought this Revell kit, it had nicely done tampo printed tires, they were redline on one side, narrow whitewalls on the other, but they were the old Michilen TRX tires, and Reell didnt even remove the old lettering!

I have dreams about models all the time.  In fact last night there was this blonde model who was calling my name as I watched her pose for pictures.

And then when I asked, "what's your name" she walked over to me and.......  Oh wait !

You mean model building!  Oh  OK.....  Never mind.

I once dreamed that the '73 Chevy kit had been reissued. The dream was so realistic that later on I believed it actually happened and I had one in my stash. Once I couldn't find it, my friends convinced me it didn't really happen.

I dream from time to time about my old Lotus Super 7, lost and gone forever. Really a very large model car, and taken apart and rebuilt frequently while I had it. That and terror dreams about going very fast backwards in a Pantera, downhill, with no brakes........only 2 car-anything dreams I can recall.

I can't recall any dreams. But I know one that would be cool.... having all the Victorias Secret Angels turn out to be car modelers and asking you to help them with their, ahem, models! ;)

Personally, I don't find those starving, synthetically enhanced model attractive at all.

Love the art work from old sales brochures for box art on your two lower phantom kits, John. And those are two kits I'd buy in a heartbeat. If the '73 LeMans Sport as shown was offered as a kit, I'd hope it would include the parts to build it with the GTO option. Four cars I'd love to see would be all of GM's '73 A-body performance Colonnade coupes. The Buick Century GS, Chevrolet Malibu SS, Oldsmobile Cutllass S 4-4-2, and Pontiac LeMans Sport GTO.

Muahahahaha...

Christian, that Citroen truck would truly be a nightmare that could wake you up in a cold sweat...........but after second thought it's just ugly enough to be an interesting build. LOL

I would buy several copies of that Citroen H van!   I need them to go next to my 2CV collection!

That custom van was made by Liberty Walk / LB Works, and Aoshima has been producing kits of some of Liberty Walk's customs, so maybe...

But probably not.

Scott

I cannot take credit for their creation ; I merely reposted a select-few phantom box art creations by other members ( and in hindsight , I should have given the respective members their dues . I hope that they accept my apology for that oversight ).

Impressive representations of highly desired subjects !
