Not new, I finished it a few years back. And... it's the Revell kit with pre-paint body. That freed me up to add detail, and actually finish it.

Yes it is Casey. Far more detailed than the AMT offering.

One nice feature is the hood is attached at the rear corners. there are horizontal slots on top of the firewall, so I made this one piece non-functional hood spring. I just stuck that hook seen on the lower left into the slot, and it holds that metal hood up just fine. The music wire cross bar places the opposite side in place; no hook.

As a kid who grew up idolizing the '77-'78 Trans Ams, I love it. this appears to be one of the nicer, less die-cast-like models, too.

I loved these cars when I was a kid!
