Not from a '64 Impala, but it is GM. The other side should look pretty much the same, but I'll check tomorrow.

Is it from an AMT Styline kit? Seems if its AMT and GM its gotta be early 60's

Now you're getting warmer... this wasn't in the Styline series though.

AMT 62 Tempest
The chrome tree is completely different, but they do look like the same side pipes, so I guess I'll give it to you. The part in my photo is from a '61 Tempest.

Ok, thanks. I don't have a tree from the 61
Here's the next one:
I hope you can see it. Part is white plastic unpainted, just a little dusty.

Is it from a model that was here in the US or is it European?

No. More american
This is not a stock part. When the model is finished the part can be seen at the outside. It is not hidden under or inside the model (like a hinge or axle).

Looks like it might be a roof light bar for a police/emergency type vehicle.

I get the hint "more American", thinking it must be AMC or Jeep.

No, that was unintended But I use it as a hint:
It is not from an AMC (or Jeep, Rambler, Nash, Hudson, etc.)
