Hi all.
I was busy collecting and modifying diecast models before jumping into plastic model cars. Here is one of my diecast modifications. Color is L11 Pastel Green. Resin Porsche Fuchs wheels. Hope you like it.

Not my kind of wheels but the paint on that looks awesome. What scale is this and who made it?

I had a real 1956 and want to make a replica of it someday.

In which sense ?

Not my kind of wheels but the paint on that looks awesome. What scale is this and who made it?

I had a real 1956 and want to make a replica of it someday.

It's amazing how much slamming a car and changing the wheels and paint can improve a die cast. It looks very good.

To my taste they are way too far in. The olive green on the other hand is very handsome.

...I was thinking maybe the axel was narrowed so the tires would clear the fenders.

In that case the rear axel should be narrowed as well.

Maarten, it is not quite possible to slam an early bug without narrowing its front beam. Have a look this thread.

In that case the rear axel should be narrowed as well.

...The front wheels have to turn corners requiring more clearance.
