WOW!! GREAT PAINT!!!! Looks really good so far ,can't wait to see more. One note The cubic inch to weight break maybe wrong for d/gas. from 60 to 63/4 13 lbs to 13.99 lbs per cubic inch 63/4 to 67/8 it went to 11.99 lbs to12.99 lbs per c.i.. My father and uncle ran a 1955 chevy sedan with a 301 c.i.& a 3 speed in d/gas from 1961 to 1966. In 1967 moved to ss/c with a 67 Camaro 396 and the Chevy went to a 292 inline 6 for h/gas. Paul

Thanks for the kind words and info too. I took detail master injector stacks and cut them smaller and at different heights, also drilled out the centers so I didnt lose the details of the injectors when you look down the stacks and I added moroso vc's and I think they look much better then the 409 vc's that came with the kit..........................Rob

#2 stack should be taller (front passenger side). Good looking engine otherwise. I like the valve covers.

I just realized you put Mark IV heads and valve covers on a 409 block. That doesn't work. The 409 block is completely different The angle of the deck on a 409 is much shallower, as the combustion chamber is in the block.

The Mark IV is commonly known as the big block or rat motor.

Yes , you are right and that those valve covers and heads dont belong on a 409. Yea, but it sure looks good !(LOL!!)
