Round 4!!

59 Ford Custom 300 4dr sedan

Police-Rs.jpg

Roof is from a resin 59 EDSEL, I used the Toy for wagon body for door lines.

Yes is is going to be a Police car. NO Not LAPD, or ANY Cal. department!!

Think N.C. Sherriff!!!!!!!

Another Police build. 2dr this time

Balt-PD-Ls.jpg

I made a mask of the resin EDSEL roof and applied it over the Rev Skyliner roof to mark and cut.

This one will be a Baltimore, Md. cruiser!! (If I can get scale Balt. decals!!!!)

I will add the sedan post & frame After I glue the roof & windshield in place!

Original Ghostbuster's Ecto-1'

Ecto-1-Rs.jpg

This is an Original issue AMY 1A kit Backdated to Ecto-1 Spec.

(Started when NEW, Years before the Polar Lights kit which is not quite accurate)

STILL???!!!

Original AMT or MPC (not sure which) 67 Chevy Fleetside

67Fleetside-LS.jpg

The cap is from the 68 issue of the AMT 63 F-100 or 69 Chevy Fleetside

I got it in a lot with a 69 so bet it was that one!!

This is the 69 that had the Cap on the 67 above

it was painted green and had etched the body

69Fleetside-LF.jpg

72 Fleetside with a Stretched Blazer chassis

72Fleet4x4-Rs.jpg

"Street Sleeper"

StreetSleeper-1-crop.jpg

Elegance Series issue of the AMT 65 GTO. LAST Stock issue before the Dirt racer tool modifications

So many Loose parts I started the build. Note the Blue windows!!! Deeper than the Blue in the New Daytona Transport!!

Couple old started projects that have sat many many years exactly the way shown here.

Original issue Johan 1970 Road Runner . It had a badly damaged decklid when I go it , so I cut it out and was replacing it with one cut from the Superbird kit and that was as far as it went

2nd one is an original issue MPC 1968 Barracuda. I wanted to make a BO29 Hemi cuda out of it but couldn't bring myself to sand off the 1968 only rocker trim, so it sits .

I've had both of them probably close to 20 years and they've sat like this for close to if not more than  15 years in boxes.

Someday maybe.

Sure dig cars in primer.  Mostly light grey primer or white. Sure brings out the details that you don't see with a color coat on them.  I like shiney though so I guess they got

to be painted in the end.  Some very nice stuff here though...

Joker,

Where did you get the '59 El Camino Body from? I'm doing a Resto on one of my father's models; a '59 Lonestar Camino. The 'A' pillar is broken and an entire mosaic looking piece missing from the roof from a crush I suppose. If like to repair, but the styrene is so acient that body work is difficult. Maybe I can ship the body to one of you masters to help me with???

Great thread Doc!
