i found this kit in a box today, so i thought it would be a great project to go onto next. I am thinking a light blue colour with chrome trim. havent worked out wheels or engine yet. any ideas????? wanting to have trumpets up through the hood. Any advice as i build is more than welcome.

after annoying everyone around the house (family, visitors, the cat), it came down to 2 types of rims. i feel i am going with the 2nd set for what i want as a final finish.

The chrome slots make me think "'70's fast-food cruiser; street marauder..." It's refreshing to see one of these built as a non-sled. Thanks!

The slots look really good on this. Kinda gives me an "American Graffiti" feel. :)

if you're looking for more detail on the AMT kit you could combine the Revell Merc with the AMT.

i haven't done it myself yet but have compared the two Mercs and i don't think it would take too much to do it.

oh yeah i like the slots.

I ran Ansen Sprints on both my Charger and Super bee, so I'm likein the slots too. Just a nice street racer look to 'em.
