I've been on a fox Mustang kick. Here is a '79 Turbo Cobra.

Oh that's nice! I remember as a young boy (I was 6 when this was new) liking those. I don't remember the last year of the II's,but I remember the first of the Fox Bodies coming along in '79. Great build :D

Nice looking Cobra. I'd love to find the Monogram 79 Indy pace car for a decent trade or reasonable price to do a build of my grade school buddy's mom's car. Any takers?? Come on, help a brother out....

Tom K. I have been looking for a pace car as well. I agree they are way too expensive. If I find a reasonable deal on one , I'll let you know !

O good job on that model! I like that Mustang's generation, they were very popular here in Mexico.

Finest example I've ever seen of that kit !!

I'd built a load of those back in the 80's ; none of 'em looked nearly as nice as yours .

I recently saw one of these kits pass-through the Barren-Jackas auction block , where its reserve was met at $15,507 .

Nice looking little '79 Cobra Dan! Does this have the turbo four cylinder or V-8? I had a real one back in the day (302) that was built. It could get scary with you quick! I have an MPC kit that I want to build a replica with someday.

Thanks Roger ! This kit has the carbureted four cylider turbo engine. I also just built an '83 convertible with the v-8 and an SVO with the turbo. All Monogram kits.
