Good lord, that is a beautiful build!  Congrats!  I don't believe I've seen Benny's ride built before. I have the Model King reissue of the Cyclone that I hope to build into David Pearson's car some day.

Yes, that IS nice! Did the body just drop down on there, or did you have to make it fit?

Yes, that IS nice! Did the body just drop down on there, or did you have to make it fit?

 

 

No, it took some work.  But the Polar Lights' chassis and engine is WAY more accuracte than the MPC kit.

Thanks Tony.  I thought about doing Pearson's car but I decided to do some thing a little different

Beautiful build!  Excellent paint and decal work, plus the chassis-swap and detailing added to that 429 make this an incredible build!

Very cool!  Great to see more of the 60's-70's cars get some love.  Back when the cars were still kinda stock and the "chrome horn" was real metal.  Nice work.

Thanks.  The 429 just clears the shock towers.  It is one BIG engine.
