I had to put a bunch of recent builds and diecasts under glass. So, I needed to rearrange my display shelf. I thought I might show off some past builds or diecast repaints. I will limit each post to six pictures. If anyone has a problem, let me know.

My first collection is AMT Custom/Proshop cars that I detailed and foiled. I loved these kits because when I couldn't paint or had limited time, it gave instant gratification.

IMG_0030_zps66b1415f.jpg

1948 Ford Woody. Nice kit to build but I wasn't to crazy about the chassis and windows.

IMG_0041_zpsc6fe5c02.jpg

1955 Chevy Nomad. Nice looking car. The tailgate/window is kind of fussy.

IMG_0029_zps50cfbbbe.jpg

1956 Ford Fairlane. Easy build amazing kit for age.

IMG_0049_zps5cf5a636.jpg

1957 Chrysler 300. Big beautiful car with great detail.

IMG_0027_zps749bcf19.jpg

1957 Ford Thunderbird. The kit design shows its age but, still looks good.

IMG_0033_zpscd111279.jpg

1957 Chevy BelAir. I think everyone has built this kit at least once. The extra 409 dispays nice.

Some more AMT Custom/pro Shop builds.

IMG_0048_zps4bc5662e.jpg

1958 Plymouth Belvedere. Nice to build. Sad the side spear is messed up.

IMG_0028_zps07614dbb.jpg

1958 Edsel Pacer. Great build with nice detail.

IMG_0022-1_zpsec1200d4.jpg

1962 Ford Thunderbird. Nice car great detail.

IMG_0032_zps980a0bb5.jpg

1966 Buick Lowrider. HeHe, didn't like the tiny tires, so I used the wheels fom a 65 Galaxie.

IMG_0024_zps48c34ecb.jpg

1966 Ford Mustang. Another kit showing its age.

IMG_0034_zpsc8287ded.jpg

1967 Chevy Impala SS. I tried to make the modified kit look stock. Wild color.

I think this is last post for tonight. Have to get up for work in a few hours. I'll continue with more tomorrow.

IMG_0031_zps86b3aa23.jpg

1969 Olds Cutlass H/O. Had to make some changes to the prepaint to try and match real car.

IMG_0017-1_zps75ce807c.jpg

1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. Another kit with old disease.

IMG_0043_zpscb7bd46e.jpg

1971 Dodge Charger. Great results with little hastle.

IMG_0068_zps91b2c490.jpg

1971 Plymouth Duster. Added stock parts. Nice kit to build.

IMG_0067_zps58ae027f.jpg

1971 Plymouth Duster. Slightly different.

IMG_0036_zps38da456d.jpg

The saga continues... Tonight I'll add repainted NASCAR diecasts and a few others I built years ago.

IMG_0006-2_zpsd128d27b.jpg

Carl Edwards 2009 #60 Scotts Wild Bird Food/Songbird Fusion. Pretty car built for wife, she loves cardinals. Don't remember decals or color used.

IMG_0009-1_zps407fed31.jpg

Travis Kvapil 2008 #28 LaFayette Ford Fusion. I always thought this Fred Lorezen paint scheme. It made a nice clean car. Don't remember decals, but the color is Wimbeldon white.

.IMG_0010-1_zpse7d17599.jpg

Carl Edwards 2004 #99 Superchips F-150. This picture does a lot for these decals. Don't remember where they came from, but they look like a photocopy. Paint is some old Duplicolor bright white.

IMG_0011-1_zps56007832.jpg

Carl Edwards 2005 #99 Scotts Fusion. JWTBM decals? I think the paint is Duplicolor bright white and some Duplicolor engine paint bright green.

IMG_0012-1_zps7cce2581.jpg

Carl Edwards (see a theme?) 2004 #99 no sponsor Fusion. Crappy who knows decals and black paint.

IMG_0052_zps868b597b.jpg

Bill Elliott 2009 #21 Motorcraft Fusion.  More crappy decals but the paint is original Action, I just removed the pad print.

Some more NASCAR diecasts and a couple I built.
IMG_0053_zps2c7fb62b.jpg
Bill Elliott 2008 #21 Little Debbie Fusion. Terrible decals and more original action paint. I bought several Carl Edwards #99 Office Depot Fusions for cheap off the old GoMotorBids. Sure miss those deals.
IMG_0054_zpsedbbd82d.jpg
Bill Elliott 2006 #00 Burger King Monte Carlo SS. Original Action paint and some decals, I rubbed off the front area and trunk lid pad print and replaced with alternate paint scheme.
IMG_0055_zps7d9a6a0c.jpg
Bill Elliott 2004 #91 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Dodge. JWTBM decals and some red paint.
IMG_0056_zps1689106f.jpg
Bill Elliott 2004 #91 No sponsor Dodge. JWTBM decals and some red paint.
IMG_0057_zpsa837f68c.jpg
Bill Elliott 2003 #9 Coca Cola Dodge dirt car. ebay decals and original white paint
IMG_0058_zps9bb49cfb.jpg
Bill Elliott (I have nearly a hundred Bill Elliott cars, he's my all time favorite driver). 2003 #9 Dodge Power Days Intrepid. Slixx decals and some red paint.

More NASCAR. The first one is a diecast the rest are built by me.

 IMG_0014-1_zpsea9f9e41.jpg

Jimmy Pardue 1964 #54 Burton-Robinson Plymouth. Fred Caddy decals and original Racing Champions paint. The side spear is aluminum speed tape, like they used back in the day.

IMG_0016-1_zpsb7b9d0ef.jpg

Rick Rudd 1994 #10 Tide Thunderbird. First time I used resin piece (nose), I think the decals are Monogram and the paint is neon orange and white.

IMG_0059_zpsf3230f98.jpg

Bill Elliott 1992 #9 Budweiser Thunderbird. The only car I ever attempted to detail. Aftermarket decals (of course) and Tru-Match #11 red paint.

IMG_0060_zpsd9e48c93.jpg

Bill Elliott 1990 #9 CoorsThunderbird. It was nice before I stored it years ago. Clear enamel paint yellowed in non acid-free paper.

IMG_0061_zps33f39db4.jpg

Bill Elliott 1983 #9 Melling Thunderbird. Slixx decals and Testors paint.

Last post for night.

IMG_0062_zps40cfae62.jpg

Bill Elliott 1982 #9 Melling Thunderbird. Slixx decals and Testors paint.

IMG_0063_zpsda37f0a9.jpg

Bill Elliott 1982 #9 Mell-Gear Thunderbird. Slixx decals and Testors paint. Side numbers too big. I found out after the build Slixx had a number sheet to correct.

IMG_0064_zps5c24b1c2.jpg

Bill Elliott 1981 #9 Mell-Gear Thunderbird. Slixx decals and Testors paint. Same number problem.

IMG_0065_zpsa2c9c3fc.jpg

Buddy Baker 1973 #15 RC Cola Torino. My dad built the MPC Sta-Power back in the 70's and gave it to me (long gone now). I built this from the Jo-Han kit and Fred Cady decals in the early nineties for him. He past a few years ago, so its back with me. Needs some repair.

More diecasts and a few built kits

IMG_0007-2_zps38fd40d5.jpg

Testors Lincoln Mint kit 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Some issues with the fender vents (too far forward) and wing (too straight up and down). Added a little paint and foil.

IMG_0015-1_zps3469dd59.jpg

Crown Premiums car George Folmer 1969 Mustang T/A. Stripped the paint off a horrendous H/D diecast and used fred cady decals and I don't know what paint.

IMG_0008-1_zps1cf42007.jpg

Monogram 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Seville. Beautiful kit. Built right after released (1995) and never had any issues.

IMG_0020-1_zps2909104e.jpg

Monogram Tom Daniels Li'l Van most recent reissue. I loved building this little kit.

IMG_0025_zps113af365.jpg

AMT Prestige 1965 Lincoln Continental. Built in late 80s, one of the first cars I foiled. The interior detailing is all wrong, I had no reference.

IMG_0026_zps9afa25de.jpg

AMT Styline reissue of 1961 Ford Galaxie. I attempted the look of a Promo. Has Modelhaus Resin wheels and tires.

The last of the built models and one Funny Car Diecast.

IMG_0066_zps16b679b6.jpg

Revell 1969 Dodge Dart GTS. This is from mid 90s and was a pleasure to build.

IMG_0051_zpsc6bbe407.jpg

Polar Lights 1966 Batmobile "snap" kit. Great kit that benefits from extra detailing to make it pop.

IMG_0047_zps505c9d8b.jpg

Polar Lights 1965 Dodge Coronet "snap" kit. Great kit that looks good with some detailing.

IMG_0037_zps5f408b03.jpg

Polar Lights 1964 Pontiac GTO "snap" kit. Great kit that looks good with some detailing.

IMG_0001-2_zps1c69451a.jpg

1320 plain white Vega Funny Car. The color is too dark, but I like it. The decals are Slixx and almost impossible to apply.
