Do different years count, or is it just one year/make/model?

Yes, the entire year range for this model is included, though I think most fall within the first year or two of the car's debut. Some are stock, others are heavily modified, but all name the model specifically.

I might have it wrong, I've got 14 kit makers, and 8 scales, many years.

I am thinking Chevrolet Corvette, but they might not all exactly say "Chevrolet Corvette"

No, think cheaper, smaller, and far less upscale...and from a different manufacturer.  :D

I just realized the question was what "Amercian Compact Car" sheesh, I need to pay attention when I'm reading!

Casey, are race cars included, or are they all street driven vehicles?

No, but the make/manufacturer is correct. It is a Ford.

Two kits from two different manufacturers are full-on race cars, but the others are closer to stock.

I'm not for sure on this but you might have the platform close when you said Mustang, think more family oriented, & not a ground animal.

Hmmm..Ford Maverick?  There was a large scale one made by a Japanese company, I believe...and Revell had a 1/32nd, Johan had stock and drag racing ones in 1/25th..there have been diecast ones in various scales.

That's correct, Ford Maverick.

  1. Fujimi 1/16 (it's been mentioned a few times on the forum, but very obscure)
  2. Revell 1/32
  3. JO-HAN 1/25
  4. ??
  5. ??

Some more...

Monogram had the 1/12-scale Mean Maverick.

AMT issued Jo-Han's pro-stock kit as the 1/25-scale Right On Maverick.

MPC had the 1/25 Ohio George Multi Maverick. It was reissued as the War Horse. There was a Maverick funny car from MPC too.

Otaki had a 1/24-scale kit.

Revell also issued a 1/25-scale Maverick funny car.

Lindberg had a Mini-Lindy Maverick that was approx. 1/64 scale.

I wasn't even going to try to accurately guess the scale of these two.   Looks like they've all been listed, so Glenn/Rob/Don/Vince, one of you please go ahead with the next question.
