Seeing this is pure fantasy....

Daily driver: A bunch of 1980-2011 Town Cars (1 or 2 from each generation), driven in rotation for the nice weather; a Navigator for the winter.

A 1970s Continental as a celebration of what a real American car once was.

Fun newer car: A Mk. VIII without sunroof.

Going out without a crowd: A Mk. III- perfect for myself to go someplace special.

Convertible: 1961-62 Continental convertible. Make mine blue, please.

Show stoppers:

1958-60- any body style.

1956-57 Capri or Premeire. I think the coupes flow so nicely, but all of these are beautiful cars. I especially like the two-tone of white with sort of aquamarine accent I saw a picture of once. Gorgeous.

1949-'51 Cosmopolitan. Just weird enough to be cool.

A 1937-38 Zephyr of any body style. The coupe is gorgeous, but I'd be happy with any of those.

A custom-bodied car from the 1920s or '30s.

I was being a bit of a literalist about Lincoln the division. A Mk. II definitely goes under my list "Show Stoppers," too. One of my favorite cars of all times.

1. The '72 Mark IV - the second generation modern-era Mark, available for just one model year before it grew Nader era railroadtie bumpers. . TIM

I agree with Mr Boyd on this.

Is the Futura really a Lincoln? If yes, then put me down for one. And a Zephyr.

I have to agree with the last two picks. Always liked the Mk3, and the Zephyr is just exquisite.

You guys can have all your pimp wagons and country club land yachts!

My first choice would be a true Carrera Pan Americana road race-prepped '53 Lincoln Capri hardtop. But it'd probably take a few more Washingtons than I've got!

Definitely the Mark 7. B)

I had a Mark VII... what a real piece of junk... had it for 2 years and got rid of it for a Ford T-Bird... The electronics on that car was a nightmare...

I just picked up one of these to re-build. I may go with this color combo on the build.

'39 Scrape

Okay, tried to include a picture but failed miserably...

Just do a search on Lincoln Scrape and bring up the purple monster.

This is too cool!  That's what I liked about the '50's.  Also put me down for one vote on Harry's pick the Zephyr, If you have never seen one of these up close and you are a fan of the fat fender Fords, you will fall in love.
