Decided to go with a plain old box stock build. I thought it'd be pretty simple, but the bare metal foil was a bit of a pain. Comments welcome!

Nice job on that. Those little chrome strips will not be fun to do on mine, and I'm dreading it.

Nice job on the foil and I agree it can be a pain.  These old cars always look way up in the air when we build them stock, just get so use to the lowered stance these days.  That is a neat old Plymouth, I would love to have a real one.  I had a '40 two door sedan that was gray way long time ago.

Really nice outcome on this car. I dread BMF on any car let alone one with this much chrome to do.

Great job.

It looks just fine . . .  so does the BMF !

I remember my aunt driving an old Plymouth like this one in the late 50's .

Something is way out of whack. The front end is much too high. Look at the front of the car... there are cutouts where the front bumper brackets are supposed to fit into. On your model those cutouts and the bumper brackets are a mile apart. You messed up somewhere in the building process.

I like it. The color is perfect.I always scribe along the chrome moldings before BMFing It really does help

thanks,  i see that now, the body must have come loose during photos -i'll have to re-glue it.

Hopefully it's an easy fix.
