hi Guys, i've been buying up bigger scale cars to try and get some wheels for my jag, any how i got a few 1/12 gluebombs and really liked this one, not sure what way to go with it, maybe sort of pro touring.

That's a good kit, it's the Otaki Mercedes SLC kit, I'm building the AMG version. If you need instructions for it, just let me know.
Edit: I see that whoever built it before attempted to wire up some LED lights. Looks like they also installed the rear lenses incorrectly. The center section should be red, and the outer corners amber.

The wheels was one of the reasons I bought the AMG kit. I've put it away for now while I'm working on some other builds, but I'm sure I'll be dragging it out sometime soon.
As for the windows, scrape off as much glue as you can with a knife and get yourself some Pledge floor finish with Future (for vinyl floors), if you don't already, and brush some on. It will help fill in any gouges and will dry clear.

hi Guys, back at it, i've raised the floor a bit and got rid of most of the engine bay, i don't think i'm up to scatch building a new front end and chassis so i'll have a look through my bits and see what i come up with. thanks again Jordan, i've red all about pleadge but never used it. need some bits on friday so i'll see if we get it here. cheers Jeff

The following is kind of an old web page, but it appears that Pledge with Future Shine was reformulated for the UK, including New Zealand, as Klear Multi-Surface Wax; some modelers say it comes out a little milkier than the old Future formula. Read this to learn more about it and its various names and substitutes:

hi Guys, thanks Skip, my wife tills me we have pledge here. Jordan i'm not really shore what you would call it, pro streetish-pro tourish, i'll make up my mind when i find some wheel and an engine, i'm thinking sb chev and tubbed rear end. cheers Jeff

Well if you plan on running large tires in the rear similar to dragster, while being street legal, I believe that's called "pro-street". Pro-touring I believe refers to the vehicles that have the larger wheels and high performance suspension that allows them to corner better.

hi Guys, started on the engine bay, i'll use a tamiya 240z front and blend it in with what is left of the merc, the up side is i get nice struts, r/p steering and it will be low. down side- lot of mucking around, nothing on the merc is straight, very old and has worped and twisted.
