Drake69 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 GM never thought they would be worth the cost of reengineering the wagon portion of the car and scrapped the idea, only keeping the '78 and '79 concept cars. A custom body company in California bought the rights to make the wagon version of the TA in the early eighties and produced a few of them, but they were not that popular back then due to cost and waning popularity of station wagons (non-mainstream).
