I'm proud of myself so far, I have to Shorten a Funny Car Chassis to fit under this Body!

It will fit the Johan mustang one if you can find it Micheal,(I just checked )seems to be the easiest one to get hold of. If you cant get or want to build one I can take some pics and measurements of an unmade Johan chassis if that would help. (Sorry cant/wont sell as I have a specific project in mind that needs the kit as the decals have been made for it ).

Michael this thing is really awesome, my Pop's loves the old Funny cars. I was thinking if you had a wood or foam board type of working surface so that you sould pin pieces to it you may have more luck? You said you are taping the rod down, but what if you made a butt stop to make sure one end of the rod is in the exact same spot to begin with then fine tune the cut end with a sanding stick. I think your crazy for trying to scratch build a chassis with one hand......I think it's pretty awesome and I engourage you though. Keep at it, I want to see this one completed.
