If this doesn't belong on this forum.please delete.

I just bought one of those huge 36 Ford R/c cars. If anyone knows where I can find a wiring diagram, please let me know. I found 2 wires that were broken off,and I don't really know where they go. It may become a big static model.

'What Lies Beneath'

This is what most guys see when they look at an old junker.

A bit of tromp l'oeil,or 'fool the eye'  This is all graphite and charcoal pencil.

This is just sad...

Big Ol Tub Of Orange

14 March 2014 - 09:13 AM

Here's my latest rebuild. It's another one I bought from *bay and redid. This is the original 1963(?) version. This one came apart pretty easy except for the engine. I left it on the chassis because I didn't want to break the fragile motor mounts. I had to do a little body work on the passenger's side. it looked like when they were building it,they had the body and interior shell upside down, and someone spilled a bottle of Testor's liquid glue down the inside. The plastic was puffed up and I broke the top edge of the body getting the interior out.  I sprayed it Tamiya orange which is close to the original color plastic.  I'm not a big fan of cycle fenders, but they always showed up on the old pictures of these,.

Really Big Red Deuce

This is my latest *bay purchase. It's the original 1963 version with working lights. This must have been a father and son project that nevr got finished. Some parts were put together nice and neat, while others-not so neat. The wheels were never glued on.The windshield had a big tire mark on it and was never glued on. It's missing a headlight lens, but other than that it's pretty complete. I didn't paint anything on it. I couldn't get some of it apart for fear of breaking it,so I left it alone..
