This is a model of the former Triangle Filling station that was built in Richmond Virginia. Erected in 1921, this building served as a "prototype " for the idea of a Cottage in the former Pure Oil company's market territory . This building still stands in Richmond and served in it's capacity until 1953 . 

 

Yes, this model has been shown here before . This past Christmas , I was invited by the Lewis Ginter Foundation  this past summer to exhibit work I had previously done . This was an invitational doll house and miniature show that was run in conjunction with a Christmas light show . Each year , this show generally draws about 75-80,000 people so being a participant was truly an honor .
