I have not bought any kits from the parts box, but I have bought parts from them. $20 dollar minimum order for me in the US buying from them. They have great parts, so, I'm betting their kits are good too.

The Parts Box has some resin kits. They have a Falcon, Bedford Van, Morris Van, New Yorker and some others too. And lots of cool parts. TPB Resin Kits and Bodies – The Parts Box

Got mine Saturday. He said there is a problem with the web site. Thanks.

No, thanks for the suggestion, that hood is the closest so far that came to fitting, but it's off a bit. Which is sad, cause it looks nice otherwise. And thanks, I need all the luck I can get. lol
-
Yes, that's one of the hoods that I have. Matter of fact that's the one I tried added flat plastic to the sides and front and sanding it down. I guess the edge is just not wide enough for the glue to get a good bite on it. Once it dries, and I start sanding it down to match, it just breaks in different places and comes off. I was wondering if I could take some kind of epoxy and run a bead down the side, let it dry, and just sand down the epoxy. Can't turn out any worse than what I have going on right now.

I'm pretty sure this is the Chevelle kit I have in 1/25. I need a flat hood for it so I can put a hood scoop on it. Do you have one or know where I can buy one that will fit. I bought two already and they are not even close. One I tried to add plastic to the side and front to get it to work, but every time I start sanding on it, it breaks up in places. I can't seem to be able to build it up.

Absolutely. It never looks right if they are just thrown on there.

I got a spare set. I can dig them out later tonight after I get home from work. Send you a pic tomorrow if you need to see them.

WOW, that window looks ten times better now. Surprised they shipped that body as screwed up as it is.

Welcome, anytime. Just thought you put so much effort into making springs and such that you might want to know about that. As for the long ladders, they are period correct for some builds, just depends on the era you are building it for. I know they have modern day gasser classes in some areas, and I know they made changes to those for safety, even though they want to build them as much by the old rules as possible too.
-
Yes, any car, not just a gasser, that has ladder bars and leaf springs without floaters would be incorrect.
-
Looks great. Ladder bars a little bit long and you need a set of floaters when using them with leaf springs. I need to look that up, I'm not sure when they went to 33in. ladder bars. Anything longer than that usually guarantees a wheel stand.

He's right. It's a magneto. I have one just like it.

Glad to hear it. The address, phone number were missing from the site and it won't allow emails to be sent from it. I thought they might have closed up.
