Delivered mail - "lost"...

11 September 2014 - 02:28 PM

I need to tell you about this... A week ago I ordered some PE online, the seller told me that he ship them on September 3rd and sent me an email with tracking number. I almost forgot that I order the PE, so today I check online the status, and it says that it was delivered on September 5th! :( I was home that day, and when to pick up the mail immediately the mail man delivered. Not that I look out a the window waiting for it, like a dog :D, but that day I received also a package and when the mail man left to the porch he rang the doorbell.

I ask one of my neighbor but he did not received it. It is kind of sad, that people keep your mail.
Sorry for the rant...

Dumpster Car...

10 August 2014 - 05:48 AM

I had some parts that I didn't know what to do, I didn't like to trash them, because for sure after I will need them. The other day I ran into a picture on the web about a car made using a dumpster.

So I want o make it, I think it should be fun and also to have a break from other projects... :)

I decided to use the postal Jeep chassis, or at least part of it.

Next I add the front from another part chassis I had, and radiator from a Jeepster, the rear axle I have not idea..10593223_821997037835011_794243771972084

This is a interesting video, kind of documentary on Matchbox cars.

Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytona Coupe...

12 June 2014 - 09:33 AM

I think to build these three... The kit is average, inside the box there are tons of bags, with parts. The kit is made out of plastic and white metal, rubber tires, seats and side panels. There are a lot of parts, and also some photo etch. The first thing on the tires are missing the name on the side... So need to find the letters for it, any idea to find some appropriate letters?

Janis Joplin's Porsche 356C...

05 June 2014 - 02:05 PM

Just finish it, I cannot believe it is done. :) The kit is the Fujimi Porsche 356B/C Coupe in 1/24 that pretty much is stock, except the first thing I had to cut the roof to make it convertible or Cabriolet, replaced the engine with a more appropriate one. I'm very happy with the paint job, it went smooth since day one, cannot believe that. :)

The picture after I changed my mind and made the roof down.

As usual my models need to pass the dogs test...
