I remember those 10cent pactra bottles..I used 4 insignia red to paint my first model...A 1958 Edsel convertible..Everything was red except the bumpers and w/shield..Many memories from this thread...

I remember we got our first car in 1958..My dad never drove and my mother took her driving lessons on a 57 Chev 210 4 dr ht..Mom and dad bought a 58 Plymouth Savoy 4 dr sedan..Black/white with red/black interior..One of our neighbors had two cars, he leased(fairly new then) for his company..Everett's had two 58 Pontiacs..A Pariesienne 2 dr ht for him and a Strato Chief wagon for the mrs..I remember this like it was yesterday...

Sounds and looks like your shop does some fantastic work on all types of vehicles...Sure nice to see stuff done up right although my right is being done to original from the factory type of resto...Its nice to see good clean workmanship and quality in the finished product...

Welcome to the forum Gordon..You didn't happen to live in St.Vital when you went to grade school did you? Was your father in the military and did you live on 57 Humboldt in St.Vital in Winnipeg..I went to school with a Gordon Enquist till grade six..It could be you...You might be my age....I'am 67 yrs old...

While your talking Checkers and other commercial vehicles there is a square ugly looking(looks Russian or Checkaslovian) type of vehicle they use for wheelchair

transport..There are about 4 or 5 in Winnipeg but could never get close enough to see the name..I think it starts with an A...Anyone heard or maybe know what kind

of car I'am talking about..It could also be made in Pakastan because all the drivers I have seen driving them are from there...
