    Ford GT

While I had the paintbooth up and running, I painted the Ford GT. Looks good, but there are many body parts to this model! I hope got them all!
  2. I added the hood to the rest of the car and it is tight! I may leave as it is instead of trying to loosen it up.
  3. Thanks for the message, but I have some made from clear packing material. Thanks anyway!

    392 Hemi

Thanks Carl! I'm sure it is worth some money for it.

Like I said, it was a gift and a surprise gift it was. I had no idea that it was coming and boy, did he deliver! I just need to get back to it and finish it.

Nothing right now. Just a stand alone build. To be assembled and painted and displayed.
  7. Thanks Carl and Anton!
  8. This was a gift from Jeff Elliott of the Classic Plastic Model Club. It is a 392 Hemi that was printed. In all, it took me about 10 minutes to get the engine block and the oil pan separated and assembled with superglue. It took a bit of cutting and sanding to get these parts together. This is gonna take a while.

I found this article in Scale Auto to be very informative. It is on the assembly of the Tamiya Ford GT which I have. It is in the April 2019 issue of Scale Auto No. 250.

I assembled the wheels and tires and these white parts are headed to the sink for a bath.
  11. Been working on the Jag Coupe lately. The hood is complete and now for the decals.

Hey Carl, it's Mike! Not John!

    Ford GT

With the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans today, I decided to start my Ford GT model build. My paint will be Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue. I am undecided if I want to use the center stripes as I do like the car with and without them. If I do use them, I'll go with the white stripes.
