  1. Thanks Elliot!
  2. Thanks Keith! Oops....I forgot that there are decals in this kit.
  3. Thanks Trevor! I added the air cleaner to the top of the engine.
  4. I attached the interior to the chassis and I painted the bed cover,
  5. Here is my International Scout II painted in Tamiya Racing Green.
  6. With the exception of the air cleaner, the engine is done. Wired and maybe I'll add some plumbing.
  7. Thanks Alan! When the body is clearcoated, I hope that the decals stand out further! I was going for the chrome plated wheels, but the instructions say the wagon wheels are used and I also like the looks of them on this Scout SS II better than the chrome wheels.
  8. As is mine, but I also know a lot of "things" thanks to my friend, FuryIII. Chrysler was known for changing things even when they were printed on paper and considered final.
  9. I learned from a friend who had worked at the Chrysler factory (which one I don't know) that the wheels and tires were depended upon the engine chosen. He said it was f60-15 RWL tires required for the Hemi. I can't check with him since he passed away several years ago. If I am wrong, then I am wrong.
  10. I've been painting and assembling again. Just a little bit at a time! The instructions say to mount the lights above the grille guard, but I decided to mount the lights below the grille guard.
  11. I've been doing some painting and assembling today.
  12. I was worried that the decals would disintegrate as soon as they hit the water. But, alas they didn't! The decals did take a little longer to come off the paper backing, but I expected that would happen. Now to clearcoat the body when the decals are dry.
  13. Unfortunately, that is not what I have learned. You are the first to dispute what I have learned. I'm not saying you or I are wrong. Maybe one of us got a piece of bad information, I don't know.
  14. Well, thanks to all who have spoken with their choices. We are not talking about the standard tire, but what was required for the upgraded engine choice.
