Looks good, what did you do to it?

Thanks.

Here is what it looked like in the box:

Blackened the wheels, colored all the running lights on top, rack on top and windshield posts painted black, and silvered the step-up bars below the rocker panel, etc..

Looks pretty good.  Are these pretty close to 1/25?  Most of the Miasto are made to fit the box and can run small.

Maisto labels mosts of its models on the packaging as 1:24 scale, although the following are designated on their packaging as follows:

1:25 Volkswagen New Beetle
Volkswagen New Beetle Cabriolet
1993 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck

1:26 2009 Hummer H3T

1:27 1999 Ford F-350 Super Duty Pickup Truck
Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Truck
Ford F-150 STX Pickup Truck

I would assume most, if not all, of their 1:24 scale are true to scale.

Al, your truck really "pops" with the whitewall tires and the blue and black color combination! Excellent work. I chose this model for the same reason you did, except my version is a dark green and black. Yours shows the details much better. Nice model!

I very much like it! What paint/color/technique did you use for the wood wheels? Thanks!

Thank you, sir.

The way the wheels were done was quite simple. I used a couple of different ultra fine-point Sharpie permanent markers, a light brown and a light beige, to get the woodgrain look. Do the light color first, then use the darker color sparingly, depending on what shade of wood you prefer.
The center hubs were done with a black marker. So were the valve stems and the outer edges of the wheels.
