  1. I can't find a pic right now, but how about the 379 ex hood that I am still working on. 42' wheelbase, tridem drive with super singles on the front.
  2. I would have to say that my all time favorite is the Pete 379 Ext Hood. My dad had a '95 that had a 63" stand up sleeper and a Cummins N-14 500 under the hood. The local Cummins shop decided that since it was the first high torque, high HP engine that they had seen, they wanted to play. By the time that they were done it was putting 625 to the ground. Oh, did I mention that it was purple. Looked really good pulling that purple trailer across I-80. Wish I had a pic to post, will have to try to get one from Mom or Grandma.
  3. Watch the show "Ice Road Truckers" on the History Channel and you will see them in use quite a bit. They load trailers and set up the oil rigs. Some of the Ice Road trucks have the winches on the back of the trucks to help load the trailers as well.
  4. You can also check STS http://www.stsmodeltrucks.com
  5. Kostas, love the signature: ...cause we got a great big convoy, rock in through the night. Yeah, we got a great big convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight? Come on and join our convoy, ain't nothing gonna get in our way. We gonna roll this trucking convoy cross the U.S.A. Just watched the movie, the night before last.
  6. Was that a working snowblower I saw on the front of that thing? Sweet!!!
  7. All look good, but whoda thought, a Freightshaker Condo bunk on a Pete.
  8. looks good, but it would be better if it could be used on the road, ie. pull a trailer.
  9. The reason that I would like them in light gray is that I have it painted gunmetal and would like the decals to be just a little bit lighter.
  10. I am working on a 66 Shelby GT350R, however I don't want to put the racing decals on it. Does anyone make a stock GT350 decal? Also, I would like them in light gray. Could anyone help or point me in the right direction?
  11. I am still trying to get my Big Pete 379 finished. Only started it 2 years ago. Just needs a little more fine sanding, another coat of paint, decals, and gloss coat. Car rack looks good tho.
  12. http://public.fotki.com/bridgewatertek/truck I have updated pics, as I have stripped the paint and it is a full rolling chassis. Am getting ready to prime it all, then I think I will go with a gloss black paint job with some home made decals, going with a POW theme. I put a modified Alaskan Hauler front bumper on it, with the 377 bumper pan to keep the wheel arch. I am laid off now, so I should be able to get the paint done in the next week or 2. The whole sleeper will be outlined in lightbars.
  13. Well guys, I ended up getting a gallon of Purple Power, a 4 gallon plastic drawer, and 2 gallons of water. I let the whole thing soak for a day and started peeling the paint off, a layer at a time. The whole project took about 4 days, but the resin hood feels just like it did to begin with. I also stripped another cab and hood, and a 64 1/2 Mustang. I did learn that you had better wear gloves, even diluted Diluting the Purple Power may take longer, but it works good. Will post some pics of the stuff I'm doing once I get my son in laws airbrush and get some paint down. Thinking about Mayflower green and yellow stripes, but still accepting suggestions, but not Allied orange, I don't want a big orange blob. Also working on a 377 with a 144" sleeper and a '94 379 ext hood 63" standup. The '94 is for my dad, the favorite truck he ever owned. Had an N-14 500 tweeked of course (putting out 650 hp to the ground) and it was purple. The 377 and '94 will both be curbside models. But eventually will do an '07 with a Signature 600 for him as well. But thanks all for the help, it was greatly appreciated.
  14. Is there a problem with Brad's website, of did we lose another part supplier?
