I have to thank Nick Pepe of "T-Birds by Nick" in Van Nuys, CA, for his helpful advice in getting the details right. I used Tamiya "Coral Blue" spray, which was an early '90s Leyton House Formula1 car color. It's a bit darker than Ford's Chalfonte Blue of that year, but it works, especially with a vintage 'Bird. It wasn't available on the Roadster, and I wish AMT had included wheel covers and fender skirts, as I would have built it that way. The beauty of modeling is that we can take artistic license and make it the way we like.
