Porscheman
Before I got back into building model cars again. I bought a lot of high diecast and this is one of my favorites.Made from more than eleven hundred separate pieces.Materials used include leather, copper, brass, steel, zamac, and cloth.Hand-spoked Borrani wheels with stunning detail.Opening trunk, doors, hood, and gas door.Working front coil and rear leaf spring suspension.Knock off wheels.Fully-plumbed disc brakes.Incredibly detailed undercarriage.Copper and steel wire underneath, rivited into place with metal, perfectly replicate the connections to the brakes, emergency brake, transmission, and rear. The stamped-copper hood opens on a friction strut. The detail of the V-12 Ferrari engine under the hood is simply amazing. The interior reveals more incredible detail. With real leather seats and door panels, all hand-stitched.I wish I could build them like this.Al

george 53
Looking at the size of the pavers, I'd say it's 1/18 th scale? It's VERY nice. Those CMC models are the Cat's patoot!
