kbeaton42
Hey everyone.. I just recently purchased the AMT Diamond Reo, this will be the first build in a year (since the Italeri Pete 379) I'm lost as to what to do with this kit. I can't seem to find any ideas for paint schemes, or any reference photos for that matter. So if anyone has any reference photos, ideas, or tips they will be more than welcomed! Thanks! ap40rocktruck
do a google search for the actual model number. C-11664 To understand this better, C = conventional, 116 = the BBC ( the kit does come with decals for the larger "DIAMOND REO" banner for the side of the hood, this is for the 114" BBC ONLY), 64 = six wheel & 4 wheel drive (tandem). Look on Hank's truck pictures, http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/dt_trucks.htm You can also modify it into a Diamond T 1000 Or a REO. If you feel ambitious, slide the front axle & springs back, cut the hood & slide the fenders back for a set back front axle version. kbeaton42
I stopped by the hobby store on the way home from work. I got a few ideas up my sleeve! I'll post on the workbench once I get a little free time to start on it!
