(I've also been known as Ace {and/or Essex} on other model sites {and as Cornelius Winchester "Ace" Bass on those social media sites [so I can spy on my children]}). I've been building for nearly 45 years but I think my skills peaked about 30 years ago and now, alas, my eye balls are getting blurry. Although I strive to improve with every model, I only do it for fun. I like old cars, especially showroom stock versions, but I'm starting to like customs, rat rods and hot rods. If your interested, there is model car club in your area...the Monterey Bay Scale Auto Association the models you are interested in building, pretty much cover the spectrum of car modeling in our club presently, we have about 5-7 active members and usually meet on the 1st Saturday of every month at different locations...Prunedale and/or Hollister you can message me for more information hope to hear from ya...
