Pictures do not do this justice. thoughts of the 60's, when in high school we would attempt this with inferior stuff with way overpowered engines. The nailhead is perfect for this. A real stump pulling motor. Nice build.
  2. I am a lover of the Willys. Built a few years ago. Followed Stone Wooda and Cook in the 60's, Great! Thanks
  3. You must drive that in Minnesota in the winter. Send that over to Gonzo's for a repaint. Seriously it looks great, you can almost smell it.LOL
  4. Thanks to everyone who as posted here. This really means alot to me. I love this Buick color scheme. I thought maybe I would not until I looked at it. I knew that it needed the optional wires which were offered on the real car. It gives it a low slung appearence without alterations. I build factory stock, because this is what my customers order 99% of the time. Usually their real car, or one they had. Though I built all the cars on my site, I own none of them. Even the Buick is at Ebay right now. I build a spec. car every once in awhile for Ebay so people there still know I am around. The wires are from the Modelhaus. Thanks again, now back to the shop. Gonzo
  5. Here is a 1956 Buick Super using a Hendrix resin as a starting point. Much scratch work was done to get this as correct as possible. I think the wideee's and Kelsey Hayes wires were a good match for this ride. Check out the article with many pictures in different lighting, here.>56 Buick
  6. This reminds me of the trailer from an old Mickey Mouse cartoon, where Goofy is pulling it down a hill and Mickey is inside cooking dinner, when it comes unhooked from the car and chaos erupts. Cool build!
  7. Only word I can come up with is CUTE!! Just want to pick it up and hold it, or better yet, have two, one for each foot. Nice work, I rather like the plain look. Gonzo
  8. buried in plastic and resin

  9. Excuse me while I pull the Exacto knife out of my foot.

  10. Stunning! I have never had luck with the water based paint. Very nice.
  11. Here we have a resin 1955 Ford Mainline, that I remastered from a Customline. I built this with the correct 223 ci. I-6 engine. To view better pictures and the full article on this Plain Jane go here >55 Ford Mainline Thanks for viewing.
  12. Here we have a 1957 Lincoln Capri, pro built from a Hendrix resin kit. Many changes were made to this car to get it correct. It is painted in Bermuda Coral. See a whole series of pictures of this build here> 57 Lincoln Capri
  13. 1964 Olds F-85 442 a one of a kind build. see it here
  14. Thank you to all who showed me praise on my work. I am somewhat of an unusual builder, as I like things that are different and not seen much if at all. Its probably because I build strictly for clients, which usually means a car that was never made in kit or promo form. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to detail. I have been told, why put the small details in, nobody see's them anyway, AHH, WELL, I do, and so does someone that has the real car I am copying. I am just an old man with really good close vision, never use a magnifier, or glasses. Seems my close vision has improved since excercising my eyes at close detail. Used to wear bifocals, no more though. Anyway I am pleased to please you. Gonzo
