Grimm Reaper custom Van Update ( Oct 7 )

Doin this outside the custom van CBP just because I can not get enough of these things they are the thing I grew up with like some of the older guys are muscle cars and the street rod gang .I truely can not get all the things I need for the vans .So here we go post-6187-0-64411300-1376189164_thumb.jp This kit was the Monogram VANPIRE custom van post-6187-0-07144800-1376189293_thumb.jp I'll be doing the hole hog on this one going to get some of the BFG's from Cheif Joe (asap when wifes not looking LOL) stay tuned it's going to be a wild ride

Got started on a custom grille for the reaper going to have squared head lamps and skull center insert post-6187-0-19418200-1376843104_thumb.jp also abetter picture of the rear door art post-6187-0-29910900-1376843149_thumb.jp on back at her having to cut out plastic for my grille

Well gave up on the grille inserts don't look right when you can't get it done in 3D so I'll just keep it coming post-6187-0-24594400-1376851930_thumb.jp going to add fine brass mesh to the backside when I find some

Did even more work today wanted to open up the doors well doing that I was thinking about how to hinge them.Problem solved as I was removing the rear door corners where not cut all the throughand bending the door up it gull winged so that is how they are going to be hinged look okay to the wife :wub: now she wants that on our old dodge :o that old girl is another story :huh:

Round one of body work got air dam filled and ruffed in modified roof drip rail where sliding door is on the side it will be gullwinged also,filled rear pan under rear doors no bumpers here

Well made at little progress have being trying to figure out how to made a sunvisor for the outside front windshield,and roof mount air conditioner like they had back in the day post-6187-0-94974200-1377744715.jpg plus thinking of doing it abit modern but still old

Been working at this van lots today got to come home early so it was right down to the shop. got the roof mount a/c sorted out should look interesting post-6187-0-81554100-1377923299_thumb.jp you got to keep things cool for this guy. Picked the wheels out still have to order my BFG's from Fireball so just have mock up tires for now,of course big and littles post-6187-0-74320300-1377923482_thumb.jp.And started to make sunvisor post-6187-0-08452200-1377923587_thumb.jpruffed up and getting into shapepost-6187-0-17903200-1377923633_thumb.jp. Got the hood scoupe opened up also post-6187-0-81500000-1377923743_thumb.jp well back to the bench

Well I'm slowly bring some life to the reaper started on the motor using the 66 Nova block mated to the so call turbo350 from the kit will be makeing the trans look like the turbo not the sort of 350 ,400, power glide,mix that it was just weird looking I know it's not that visable but it's the way I build plus got some primer on the beastpost-6187-0-30792100-1378007428_thumb.jppost-6187-0-94459900-1378007821_thumb.jp
