  1. Thanks, I scratch built the roof rack, rolled tent and tie downs. The gas cans and container are from the parts box.
  2. Hi all, Here is my completed build of the Revell Bronco. The body is painted with craft acrylic paint. Scratch-built parts include the front and rear bumper, 2 inch body lift, roof rack and tie downs. The interior is finished up with brown flocking, 5 point racing harnesses for the front seats and under dash gauges from Pro Tech. The rear seatbelt hardware is from Model Masters. I used the kit engine block and transmission, but replaced the intake and valve cover with the EFI set up from the 5.0 engine in the Revell 32 5 window coupe kit. All of the wiring, and pluming and flex fan are parts from Pro Tech. The wheels and tires are from the Revell Jeep Rubicon kit. The fender flares are from Fireball Model Works. Also, I added aluminum tubing for the exhaust tips. Thanks for looking.
  3. Thanks! I taped off and airbrushed the stripes on.
  4. Hi all, Been a while since I posted one of my builds on here. This is the Revell Foose 65 Impala that I finished up a couple of months ago. I used a lot of engine and interior detail parts from Pro Tech Such as all wiring, plumbing, fittings, carb, air cleaner, oil breathers, oil filter, throttle linkage, distributor setup and seatbelt harness. Also a complete Resin and Aluminum Big Block 572 engine, full exhaust and custom racing seats from Sweet Scale detail. The wheels are parts box wheels that I took off of an old Di-cast a few years ago. There is a PE set form The Model Car Garage used also for the emblems and dash detail. Hope you all enjoy the pics.
  5. It's looking great Charlie! Very clean!
  6. Thanks Ron, I scratch built the gauge and bottles
  7. Hey everyone, Here is the build up I just completed of the Revell Bob Glidden Thunderbird Pro Stock. I decided to build this as am Outlaw drag car. I gave it an military/Air Force theme. I cut open the trunk and modified the role cage to bring it up to date a little. I used Pro Tech detail parts and scratch built parts to detail the engine/chassis/interior.
  8. Hello all, I have completed my build up of the Revell of Germany London Bus. This is definitely a time consuming kit and not for the faint of heart. All-in-all it was a fun build bit it took me 6 1/2 months to complete and I am glad it is over. The whole thing is painted with acrylic paint. The body is cleared with Krylon Gloss clear. I detailed the engine with some parts from Pro-tech. I also made my own umbrellas, breifcase, sling shot, and magazines for the interior. I hope you enjoy. Thanks, Paul
  9. Thanks everyone! To answer a couple of questions: Yes there is a driver and co-driver in the car that the kit came with. I'll have to get a pic of them. Also, The dust cloud was achieved buy using Poly-fill, which is the stuffing you can buy at the craft store for pillows and stuffed animals. I colored it with my airbrush.
  10. Here is on of my latest builds, Its the Tamiya Subaru WRC 2002. I built it and the diorama base for it. The kit came with two figures for the inside, but they are hard to see with the weathering I applied to the kit. Thanks for looking!
  11. The Paint is Auto Air Pearlized Blue sprayed though an airbrush. The pictures make it look a little different. It actually laid down pretty smooth.
  12. This Revell Mini Cooper was a glue bomb kit I found at a local antique store. The wheels, front seats, windshield wipers are all from the parts box. The headlight glass was missing so I used some clear plastic to make new ones.
  13. Here is my AMT 70 Super Bee Pro Street. The kit is pretty much box stock except for a large selection of Pro Tech detail parts used to dress up the engine and interior. I just noticed I didn't have the hood sitting straight for the pictures. Oops!!
