  1. Thanks Bart for the comment of the moving parts of the funny car,I use mostly R.B. motion parts for the steering linkage, and the fuel cap i just use model car garage photo-etch parts for the assembly of the fuel cap,lol i thought it would not work when i assembled it first.but all of you do great work too.as i seen some of your post in different categories.
  2. O.k. folks I been working on the project when I have free time but this is my update on what I am doing to it. first of all the mock-up is very minor.I do want to keep it simple and not get to into aftermarket lots this time around,And have fun with it.But I did found out something. I didn't like about the kit that i had to fix,to me it was a flaw to it and it was the fenders where the front bar goes in place where the fenders have a large gap where the front bar rest as I show in this picture. http://public.fotki....aiting-how.html I use styrene to fill up the gap http://public.fotki....-in-gap-to.html later I will make new slots for this much tighter than original's were,I also took liberty of separating the shock towers away from the shocks and assembled to the chassis as I feel they are part of the chassis, make it the same color as the chassis as I show http://public.fotki....ing-shocks.html I tell you one thing there is lots of mold marks in this kit had to clean all my parts including the fenders http://public.fotki....ections-in.html but I got them done picture not shown, maybe later I will when I start to paint on the project but I did clean up all the chrome and here this how I am started to do http://public.fotki....-for-alcad.html http://public.fotki....or-alcad-2.html this is where I stand for now, still don't know what colors to paint it . thanks for looking
  3. cool Nate keep me in formed on your progress,i don,t care if you posted here or not but if you keep me informed in p.m. or just post,I be happy either or
  4. thanks for the comment and the show of your website it may come useful to me later...again thanks Virgil.
  5. i think it looks cool for myself, the Roof I agree that is does need to do something with itI hope you do chopped it and make it Jesse James car out of it and do a candy out of it.....now that would be cool
  6. this is true about every body is different i have a couple of workers that have Donk's or I will say Mississippi mud bog racers, but i do attend to see more young adults to do there own thing comes to builds, and showed them, because as young adults, they can show us old folks whats new in the market.i got to am-mitt for us old folks we do like gassers and groovy vans back in the old days,oh by the way good job on the Donk, looks good keep up the good work.
  7. Hi everyone Well I took some advise of a fellow modeler by showing what I have on the bench and here is one of those projects. http://public.fotki....-window-32.html I thought ways to do this kit and what colors will be,But I haven't come to that bridge yet.But I want to do this a simple way,not to much detail and have some fun with it,I had to clean the mock-up first and get rid of all those nasty mold marks that came with the kit.and here is the mock-up. http://public.fotki....-of-the-32.html I really didn't use any glue at this time just use some tape to hold the structure together. http://public.fotki....-of-the-32.html http://public.fotki....-of-the-32.html This is all for now I will have to get some part of the interior done of all what I want to be done with besides paint. Still not sure which way i go????

  12. dude that is so awesome, including the hill- borne injection, the suspension is way cool,I know that you need a few things from R.B. motion. but way cool can't wait until you finish it.
