Car Crazy 81
I'd got this one in a trade from member VW Dave i'd wanted to show it off. Not too bad for a 25 year old build not exactly a gluebomb. What ya'll guys think. Edited April 14, 2012 by Car Crazy

Car Crazy 81
I havent given it much thought since i got it in the mail today. I thought about replicating Chuck Norris' Ramcharger from the movie "Lone Wolf Mcquade" but still thinking about it.
mikemodeler
I like the subject but the kit seems like it leaves a little to be desired when it comes to detail under the hood and the underside/chassis. Let us know what you plan to do to it- a full restore, a repaint or weather it like it is.

VW Dave
I'm glad to see it going to a good home; my older brother built it in about 1980, and he based the paint scheme on a Dodge brochure from his stash:

I just got a t-case for mine so it should be seeing some bench time soon. Still can't wait to see what you do with this!

I bought mine for $36 and it was never started, but only about 75% complete. No engine/trans, t-case, roll bar, shock absorbers, spare tire 7 carrier, and no wheels and tires. But the leafs and axles are there so I don't have alot of scratchbuilding to do.
Murphy's Law
I built the "High Roller" version a few years ago. Actually turned out to be a decent kit for the age.
