Thanks. I really wish it looked like it had more leather feel to it. I'm been trying to do some new interior things since I started modeling again. This is just the first.
I took my modeling to a level I never have before. I used some bondo and deleted the door handles, the wiper arm holes, and the holes in the bed for the wood slats it came with
I also stopped by the local hobby store an picked up a seatbelt set
The inside of the can is done
And here is the rest of the chasis completed
This is the way it sits. And didn't make me to happy lol
So I did some cutting and remodeling haha
Sits perfect for how I want it to now
Right now I'm trying to get a airbrush set up. So I'm reading and deciding on which one will be best. But until then I just hand paint and call it a day. Lol
The finished door panel
And the start of the dash
I fished the cab and installed the seat, gas tank, and battery.
I painted the wheels red then added some driven on grease look to them to keep with the theme
This is the finished product
I finished the motor with one of detail masters distributor kits and I put the carb stacks on it
I started the interior with a leather look. Something that would have been used to restore the car now days.
And started the door panels the same way
I started by mocking the exterior up seeing how I want everything to fi
The outside of this I want to be just about all stock parts with this kit. I didn't really want to add anything extra.
I dechromed all the chrome parts and added rust colors to them. I want the body an all to be perfect but all the chrome rusty. I guess you can say I wanted a rat rod look with this.
