  1. I apoligize for the post, I removed it, Kenny/Blue Oval ResinWorks
  2. Blue-Oval ResinWorks is back.!!! After a long hiatis and major medical leave after 2 heart attacks, stent and gall bladder surgery and a major lower by-pass, I'm still kickin and back up and running. I'm working on a '71 Ford F-series pickup. this will have a corrected roofline and interior dash not like the R&R version that's basically a 73-79 with 72 trim. I will eventually have all the grilles for this one too from '67 to '72 and there will be 2 different shortbeds available as well as the longbed. This will be a partially complete kit with cab, bed, interior tub, bumpers, grille and chassis. You will need tires, wheels and an engine from another kit to finish, Look for it in February as it's almost ready to cast.I'll also have a scratchbuilt '66-'77 Ford Bronco, a '67 Ford Ranchero, a 68-69 Ranchero and a '67 Shelby Eleanor coming very soon. I've also got some Ford big-rig stuff in the works too and a few other surprises. Watch for it on my website. Kenny at http://blue-oval-resinworks.com
  3. Finally something more modern than the old AMT trailer kits. Looks good Dave. How about a smooth side trailer down the road, later on? OH, and opening rear doors would be nice so we can detail the interior if we want. Even the 40 y.o. AMT Fruehauf trailers had/has opening doors and some but not much inside details. Just a thought. Kenny.
  4. Hi, I'm from the Chicago area. I'm a Fordaholic. I drive nothing but Fords since I learned how to drive at 16, I'm 55 now. I collect all different kinds of Ford unique memorabilia and Ford scale model cars and trucks. I have a large collection of 1/25th scale plastic Ford car and truck promotional models and kits, some resin models too. Most are from the 1960's and 70's. Some are even one-off's. Right now I'm on a quest. I'm trying to find a few Aussie Ford 1/25th scale resin model car kits. These have been out of production for a few years now but they do pop up here and there, now and then so I'm asking anywhere and everywhere on websites, proboards and forums in the U.S.A., Europe and Down Under. Does anyone have or know where I can get any of the following kits? I've contacted scale automobilia (they originally sold these) in Australia and they don't have any or even know where any are. Here's a pic of one of them. thanx. I'm not a miliionaire or even rich but I would like to find these without going broke. Please Email me if you can help as I don't monitor this site on a daily basis. Thnx. 5. I see your point Rob, but when you're working with resin and selling, alot of guy want that accuracy, so everything has to be correct. If it were just for me and my shelf, I wouldnt bother either. but it's nice to do accurate stuff and correct the big manufacturer's mistakes too, so I try to be as accurate as possible, it's not rocket-science but some modelers think so.
  6. Yeah, I know how that goes. I got about 50 or so projects like that. The later model Ford pickup wheelwells and inner sides are quite different from the 70's style beds but I guess someone could use alot of putty to make them match the older style. I prefer to use the older style inner parts and just hack and whack them instead of the later pieces that have to be highly modified. I used 3 beds to make one short one. I'm working on a corrected longbed and I will probably use 4 or more beds to make that one. Luckily I have alot of the 70's kits and builtups to use for parts.
  7. Thanks and there is even more on the way including drivetrains, axles, tires, wheels, step bumpers, rear hitch receivers, lift kits, ultility beds, corrected wheelbase longbed, pushbars, grille guards, etc, etc, etc. with eventually complete kits available too. Here's some current and soon coming attractions.
