at the risk of sounding stupid.what is sculpey and where does one get it?Very cool sculpting. I dig it very much.

Thanks for the comments guys. Here is a link to the website, I get it at Hobby Lobby. I have used both Super Sculpey and Original Sculpey I like Original best it starts out softer easier to work with.

Sculpey is a modeling clay that you harden in an oven. Figure modelers have been using it for "eons" holds detail very well. Original sculpey is white, it's ok, super sculpey is pinkish...great stuff, the best however is sculpey firm...it's grey , holds detail the best! I got a bunch of all three types!!

I just finished sculpting the figures and started painting them today. I had to redo Rat Fink's ears because they started drooping the last time I baked him. The three figures should be done by the weekend, then I'll get started on the base, the fire coming from the headers and the tire smoke. I'll post more pictures when the figures are painted.
