Tom Geiger
I actually took this one myself over the weekend. It's on the bridge over the Delaware River between New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ. The irony is that the bridge is low and the water fairly shallow. If you jumped off this bridge, the worst thing is that you'd have to dog paddle to the shore. DaveM
A few more.... I love this one! A friend of mine who drives wreckers claims that Tom Tom has done more for the Towing industry in Northern Michigan than Budweiser and Chrysler combined. He takes the 6wd Off Road wrecker back onto two tracks and sand tracks to find elderly couples in Camrys saying, "My Tom Tom sent me this way!" I drove a rental car for a few days last year, and it had a Garmin. I punched in where I wanted to go, and the thing started taking me down canoe camp road instead of up to M-55. I don't even take the dirt bikes down that trail unless I have to! That stupid thing didn't know that some of those roads are logging roads, and others are strictly off road trails! The worst part was I couldn't figure out how to cancel it, or shut it off, so for the rest of the trip, it was telling me to turn around, and complaining that I missed my turn. Joe Handley
Google Maps are just as bad at times, I was lookingnforna gas station one night a few years back and it sent me to the middle of a residential neihborHOOD. Then a couple weeks back, I went to get directions from that station and a competitor that is across the street to the nursing facility Mom is currently in and thenone station was shown about 5 miles away like it was 3 years before and the other station was about 2-3 miles on the other direction....... Then I was looking for a third station between where Mom is and home, and according to Google Maps, that one was in a location that there is no place for a gas station?! I'm still not sure if that station ever existed!
