  1. working on a pitch deck. wish i was in my shop

  2. It's amazing. Really and truly. May I ask how long you have been building/how old you are? I'm in my mid 40s and wonder if I can ever get to this level. I want to so badly.
  3. What previous experience do you have. I need to know! Lol
  4. Sorry, I ready thru and got my answer. Incredible work. How did you know how to do this? Do you have engineering skills? I would love to know how someone who has never milled before (great machine btw: full-size ta boot) can get these results? How did you plan the pieces? THANKS
  5. LOVE THIS!!! Are youy using CNC or doing manually?
  6. Hi all, Not sure if this is the right area for this topic, but here goes. As I read books on tabletop machining and prepare to purchase a Sherline setup, I'd love to see some of your machined parts for inspiration. What have you made? How have you incoporated into your builds? THANKS
  7. Thanks all. Sometimes you have to do things twice to get it right. I chose a textured paint to approximate that 60s crackle. I think the clear plexy is a much better solution to the 5-min epoxy for lenses. I got differernt sized punches from Micromark and what a difference! I will try and get some more work done this weekend. I have to make new window glass. The kit fit is awful. Jon
  8. Hi all. I rebuilt the dash. Was not happy with the 5-min epoxy. So redid gauges this time making plexi-disc for lenses. Not PE key
  9. Looks Great! Love the paint choice!
  10. Hey Ed, I will try and find the wire and post a pic. In the meantime, I thought I'd post a few more pics of the build since you guys seem so interested, which I REALLY appreciate.
  11. Thanks Ed! Believe it or not it's painted electrical wire I stripped. Rod was too big. Lol
  12. Great info! Any thoughts on this machine and the asking? http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/yrk/tls/3261014495.html
