Kaleb
Ok I just wanted to see how this would go, One day at band camp, I had this idea come to me for an Out of The Box build. Now I know that will be a challenge to most of us, cause I cant help but actually paint it some other color or get some factory correct. Here's the specifics Any Car: except Snaps Has to follow build instructions to the T Open End because I know we all have projects going and life happens. Also because anyone can join if they just need to do a basic build to get back into the swing of things. Yes you can get rid of mold lines and hide glue marks. Other than that Have Fun. randx0
gee whiz Joshua don"t give up that easy. that was started over a year ago perhaps this time around more people will be more interested. I will find something to build out of the box and even attempt to finish it!
Kaleb
We can see, I am still interested if there are a few more.
Jantrix
I'm interested as I have a box stock kit planned, but it will be a while before I start it. Since this is an open-ended CBP, it doesn't matter how many people join now. Josh, if you're building one box stock now, I say do it here for your CBP and people might join when they see your dedication. Box stock is incredibly hard for me. If it's just the wheels, something is gonna get changed. But that in itself makes it a challenge.
wgflatliner
i'm attempting a box stock now for the fabulous 50's CBP. it's a 57 ford fairlane 500. it's a turkey of a kit so who knows when i'll actually get it done.

Olskoolrodder
At first I said "Oh-ho-ho-yeah!",then I saw the no snapper rule (was gunna do that '10 Mustang ragtop),LOL! That '70 BOSS 429 I'm about to start for the Boy will be OOB but also posted in that thread...is it still eligible? If not,I'll be doing some others in the near future
Kaleb
Sure, The reason for no snaps is to make it pretty even across the board. Mainly because most snaps are "pre painted" in the molded color. No engine so there is no difficulty in really getting it Box Stock. I don't mind started kits or even with them in other CBP's. I have a vette I will be doing box stock, If I get it done in time it will be going to a show in April.
