1/24 fender flares?

Recommended Posts

Hey Joe

I've had good results by glueing flat evergreen strips to the inside of the wells,

so that the strips stick out past the bodyIMG_3975600x450_zps3e6009d4.jpg

Then mixing up some milliput ( or other two part epoxy putty) and applying to the offset.

Sculpt it to the desired flare profile.IMG_3976600x450_zps2c408146.jpg

After the putty dries, you can dremel, file , sand from the inside out, until the evergreen strip just peels off.IMG_3977600x450_zps76953b84.jpgIMG_4114600x450_zps74bcc695.jpg

Leaving just the epoxy.

Good luck

Joe ,... why the stress??

What car are you putting flares on??

Foreign low rider or Pro touring or,...?

lots of stress. i just moved from buffalo, new york to davenport, florida with my fiancee (first time away from our parents). and yea a datsun 240z. i can't decide what i want to do next. I've hit like a writers block lol. so i moved on to the aoshima rocket bunny frs and I'm kinda digging the wide body and flares. i also wanted to do some wide wheels but everywhere i can find some of the aoshima or fujimi there out of stock or back ordered.
