Dwight55
Very nice John. Is that the 1/16 th scale? Years ago I wanted the 2fer kit that had the rail and funny both in one kit. Found a friend that wanted the rail so I got the funny. I still haven't built it, but your post sure makes me want to get on with it. Mooneyzs
John...Very nice build my friend. I love it. I am currently building the 1/16th scale Army Funny Car myself Love the Don Prudhomme figure. Detail looks great and the paint looks nice. I was trying to figure out which blue I was going to use for the funny car. Maybe I will get to see at the Desert Scale Classic if you are able to make it out. oh yea did you paint the rims with Alclad?? Thanks for sharing with us. Mooneyzs
Hey John I totally understand about not having a way to get there. Maybe next time. I will have to keep my eyes open on some shows in southern Cali. Will get to meet you one of these days and see your stuff in person. Those wheels look great with the weathering you done. Danno
John, Another GREAT build! Just been staring at the pix for the longest time ~~~ see something new every few seconds. Wow! Really sorry to hear you won't be able to make it to DSC next weekend. You'll be missed! Was looking forward to seeing you again. Well, there's next time, my friend ... Best regards! Dragracer
Nice build. Noticed the little side-view mirror on the car, I remember seeing them on some of the early RE dragsters, mainly "Big Daddy"s car. Even Don looks good (wonder how he'd feel about the "afro"!)LOL!
