jaydar
I want to darken the flat aluminum i am going to use on several parts to get some contrast on a bike that is all shades of gray and silver/aluminum. I remember reading somewhere that you can use enamel to tint alclad is this right? I also have a very dark Alclad Jet Exhaust that is very dark that i could throw in. I would greatly appreciate any tips. Happy Friday, joe.
Roncla
I've been using Alclad for years and have always just mixed the different shades together if I wanted something out of the ordinary. I've never added enamel to Alclad to tint it. Mixing dissimilar paints, in this case enamel to a lacquer could cause issues and if you already have other shades of alclad why take the risk.
