  1. So I am going to be gluing hood scoops on my 71 Demon kit and I have a black out decal on the hood. What glue should i use that won't destroy the decal and hold the scoops on ? Thanks
  2. Looking very good. I think I built this kit back in 1974. I think it might have been the coupe.
  3. Randy I know you told me this before but can you tell me how you did your grill. I am doing mine right now and not really sure how to best do the outline around the area that the parking lights are in. I realized last night that there is no line definition on the grill surrounds. Thanks Dave
  4. Other than Tim Boyd's great build I actually haven't seen another build of this 63 on our forum. Anyone out there building it?
  5. Looks good. I am glad I am not building that!!! Lol.
  6. Well my update after the weekend. I feel like I am getting the clear polished out and looking good. Probably looks as good as a 71 paint would look. Lol. I applied the Fred Cady decal Sunday. It needs a touch up in a few places but after 1.5 hours of working it I think it looks good. I think it looks better than the hood decal that comes with the kit. It is less glossy and it is the correct pattern. Being a decal that was made what maybe 15-20 years ago it didn't come apart too awfully bad. The soft set was a little rough on it as I moved the decal around especially those two raised areas on the hood of the Demon.
  7. I notice the MCW is lacquer and the Scale Finishes is enamel. What do you prefer to work with?
  8. Randy nice looking Firebird. I like the Italian Red on it. Great build.
