jrherald420
Here is the 32 Ford i built for my club build. This was not how i was going to build it but it works! Several turned aluminum parts as well as some P/E parts. Paint is 1996 Viper GTS blue pearl. Oh i won 1st place in the club build with it. Got some valve stems coming in the mail for the rims. Enjoy the cell phone pictures! 20141019_104142 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104037 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104304 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104112 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104230 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104011 by jrherald420, on Flickr 20141019_104327 by jrherald420, on Flickr And they went ALL OUT on the award...............................lol 20141019_102744 by jrherald420, on Flickr
Ace-Garageguy
Great looking '32, and one of the very few builds that I like the 3-spoke wheels on.
jrherald420
I got these wheels from a friend who used to build cars in the 90's but quit and started building armor. I had no clue what i was going to use them on but the looked good on this car and the steering wheel matches so i built off of those. Kinda just fell in place. jrherald420
The one thing that drives me nuts is the tire tread doesn't match. Tried to change them but he glued the tires to the rims. I ripped out the center trying to get them off. Had i known i was going to go this far with it i would have used embossing powder as carpet. jrherald420
Thanks for the kind words guys, I would have put a Model Cars mag on the floor but im out of them......at least its got a 32 on the cover!! nice work like the color,s ,detail,s and over all build ,but the front tire,s look to be to wide ,all most if not wider than the rear ,just a thought ,I do like your model . The tires are the one thing i dont like about it. They came from a friend who built street rods in the 90s. The tires are glued to the rims so they stayed, they are not bigger than the rears. The rear tires are wider than the fronts. I do wish that i would have put the front tires in a little more but i didnt. This was only a 3 week build and I had a set in stone deadline to finish it for the contest.

geetee66
Nice build with some tasty detail. For a phone camera, your shots sure turned out well. Love that colour. all the polishing was worth it. It looks mint.
jrherald420
Thanks, the phone camera does good but it does not catch the shine.
