MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. That gold one is stunning in it's simplicity. Such a clean build and killer stance. The in-progress one is looking good. Nice stance there too.
  2. Like i said in your Son Of Ford 2.0 post, I haven't been here a lot lately, so I missed this post until now. I'm drooling 🤤 You said to share the Monogram 32's i have, so here you go. All polished plastic.
  3. Hello my friend. I haven't been able to spend as much time at MCM the last couple months so I just found this post. Awesome stuff Of course, you knew you had me with anything to do with Monogram 32' roadsters. I like the unique changes you made to the SOF to make it your won. And thanks for dropping my name and the praise for my little Big Deuce. Here's a link for those who are curious
  4. Nice clean build. Thanks for sharing
  5. Killer wheel/tire combo. Stance looks right on.
  6. You are correct. But the OP didn't want to get bogged down that's why I said it "can be just a U shaped piece" which to me would be better than the gaping hole that AMT gave us.
  7. It shouldn't really bog you down I wouldn't think It's can be just a U shaped piece that fits around the bottom of the interior tub and takes up the space between the interior tub and the body.
  8. First off Marty, I'm glad you are bringing this one back to the bench again. You keep teasing us with it at KKIM when it shows up on the tables. It deserves to get finished. That being said, I love everything about it, with the exception of the new hood scoop. But digging the Corvette bumps And the top has to stay!
  9. The execution of the fender flares on the 69 is very clean. The paint combo on the 32 is very nice Well done.
  10. I've used the Testors Wet Look clear and Tamiya clear lacquer interchangeably for years. Test it on a smaller part that you could paint a different color (since you're out of that orange) if you're still unsure, like the firewall. Or how about one of the spare fenders you tested the orange on?
  11. Off to a good start, nice collection of parts. My opinion, needs some more rubber and/or bigger wheels in the rear.
